The car is a 1977 (April) MGB.  It was initially exported to Florida. A trader from Ontario picked it sometime after 2001, thinking he could make a quick sell.  When he did not succeed he dumped the car in a field by his house.  A British guy who was living in the area picked it up in order to restore it.  By that time the floorboards had holes in it and grass was growing through it.  Most of the wiring had been destroyed by mice.  After a long and costly restoration, an elderly couple bought it as their anniversary present in 2005.  I bought the car in October 2015.  We have done a complete repaint job as well as putting in an overdrive and other overdue maintenance.
